One of our clients was a small education-based non-profit started by two women as an outgrowth of their graduate studies. The organization had grown from a local program at several middle schools in Washington, D.C. to a national organization with programs in middle schools in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California and Wisconsin. This growth required that the organization establish clear and well-documented human resources and financial policies and procedures.

Johnson & Lawrence helped to identify the policies that would be critical to the organization's continued success and documented them, along with their supporting procedures, in an employee handbook and an administrative manual. In addition, we created and disseminated the forms that would support their policies most effectively.
